Facebook Redefines Business Pages to Increase the Organic Reach
In order to help small business on Facebook, the Facebook announced launching of a set of new updates, the step which comes after the request of the Facebook users and local businesses both to find ways to make the connection between them easier.
Based on that, the Facebook redefines the business Pages not as just a mouthpiece for marketing through News Feed, but a destination for customers.
These New Updates Were Rolled Out:
- Updating Pages On mobile:
Redesigning the Facebook pages on mobile to enables the users to interact easily with local businesses. According to this update, users are able to make a reservation at a restaurant; book an appointment at a salon; see most recent photos, upcoming Events, and Offers.
- Making Recommendations:
This update is creating recommendations on business pages, which will enable users to post a written review of your business ,which can include text with a 25 character minimum, photos and a new option – related business tags.
- Build Events:
This update is holding big digital marketing & social media events around the world to help people to discover the latest about their communities.
- Expanding Jobs Tool:
A new tool to help more people finding a job opportunity and help businesses to find the right people.
- Finding a Local Spot Quicker:
In the Facebook app a new developed section called “Local”, besides a Facebook Local app for businesses around the users. This section enables users to explore what places are most recommended, and the events friends are attending.
